Our Vision

The vision of Redemption School of Ministry is to raise sons and daughters empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring revival to the Nations. We will equip and impart a Kingdom mandate by allowing students to experience God’s presence in a supernatural culture.

Our Story

Redemption School of Ministry was birthed as a breeding ground for those who will shake the planet with the glory of God. What was a dream in the hearts of pastors Kevin and Deven Wallace for years became a reality during a powerful revival that gave rise to this school of the prophets. The Times of Refreshing revival became a catalyst through which God gave clear direction for RSM and its future. God sent provision to accompany the vision and by the blessing of God, an entire university campus was purchased at the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The grounds that once served the iconic Tennessee Temple University are now being renovated for what will become a hub of life-giving ministry that is saturated with the Spirit of God. The leadership team of RSM has taken time to shape an experience that is in keeping with the “school of the prophets” mandate that God gave pastors Kevin & Deven in the beginning. The rest of the amazing story is yet to be written!

Our Core Values: SHARPEN

Serving the King
Serving the King means to fully surrender your life to Christ and live a life of obedience in the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 4:10 “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others. We are all servants of the King.” Ephesians 4:1 tells us to “Live a life worthy of the calling you’ve received from God”. Jesus’ entire ministry was to serve God and deliver people. We have the same mandate. We have a culture of servanthood in every area of ministry at RSM.
Honor
The word honor means valuable, precious, weight, such as gold. It means to esteem, appreciate and to hold in high regard. Honor is more than being nice, it’s a position in our hearts that we put others before ourselves. We have created such an environment for everyone on the RSM campus to operate in a culture that sustains life, hope and the destiny in the hearts of everyone around them. God set the example for us in that He honored His son Jesus and Jesus has honored us, giving us value even in our sinfulness. We should always follow in His example by dealing with your leaders, peers and yourself in an honorable way.
Awakening The Nations
As Christians we are called to go into the entire world and make disciples. Tell all Nations: the Kingdom of God is here! Awakening means being woke up to what God is doing. There’s a stirring inside of us when we hear Him speak and our eyes are opened to see what He is doing. Awakening is an activation and being about the Father’s business.” Romans 13:11-13 “But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. The night is about over, dawn is about to break. Be up and awake to what God is doing!
Releasing Sons and Daughters
RSM is about equipping and training an army of people to bring revival to the Nations. Our students will be firey arrows in the hand of God, shot forth to release the Glory of God. Sons and Daughters for all nations will come to RSM to be equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Preparing for Excellence
If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. Paul says in Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” (NLT) If we’re representing God, we should do things well for His glory. The pursuit of excellence is both a goal and a mark of spiritual maturity. God expects us to work with excellence and with our full heart. At RSM you will see excellence and it will be expected from you.
Encountering God's Glory
Glory is one of the most common words in scripture. The Hebrew word kabod (K-B-D) originally means weight or heaviness. The same word is then used to express importance, honor, and majesty. The glory of God is the beauty that emanates from His character, from all that He is. Ultimately it’s the manifestation of God’s presence. This is our pursuit at RSM. We were created to glorify God and experience His glory. Moses was talking with God in Exodus when he asked to see His glory. We believe prayer is the doorway into the Glory of God – experiencing His presence. We know that as we experience Him for all that He is, we will be changed to be like Him.
Networking in the Kingdom
We are all part of the same body but with different gifts and different callings but we are the church. It’s not something we do; it’s who we are. At RSM we teach the importance of knowing your brother or sister in Christ that is doing the work of the Kingdom. We pray for each other, partner together and join together to be force on this earth that is undivided and unified together. This is the only way to reach the Nations with the gospel and bring His kingdom to our culture.

Our Statements of Faith

The Bible
We believe the entire Bible to be the inspired, infallible Word of God, the revelation of God’s will for man and the divine and final authority for the Christian life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who is revealed in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4; John 15:26
Jesus
We acknowledge Jesus Christ as true God and true man — conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified, and resurrected — our High Priest and Advocate now seated at the right hand of God the Father. Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 12:2
Salvation
We believe in personal salvation and forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, acknowledging every person’s need for the grace and mercy of God. Romans 3:23-24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 1:9
Eternity
We believe in the eventual resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. John 14:1-3; 1 John 5:11; Revelation 20:15
Water Baptism
We baptize in water all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and who desire to publicly identify with Him, in accordance with the Bible’s command. Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Romans 6:4
Holy Spirit
We believe in the present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ and instruct and empower every believer for godly living and service. John 16:13-14; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit is a promise from the Father for every believer and is distinct and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. Speaking in tongues, as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, is a physical indication of the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4, 38-39, 19:4-6
Communion
We serve the Lord’s Supper and, according to Scripture, remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross and celebrate His resurrection power. Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that His appearance will be accompanied by a bodily resurrection of those who have died in Christ. Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
Divine Healing
We believe that Jesus is the Healer. Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24
Power of Prayer
We believe in the power and effectiveness of prayer. Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:15-16 We believe in God’s terrific plan for each of His followers to honor God and help people. Matthew 5:16, 25:40; Jeremiah 29:11
